1Pulse "The 12 Days of Christmas" Day 12: the gift of love.

We simply wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Love isn't a zero sum game. You can give all the love you have to give and somehow the resource never runs out. We need more love in the world right now. Good thing each and every one of us is capable of producing it on command, every second of the day, every day we take breath.

We love you all! Happy holidays,

Jenn & Eric

1Pulse “12 Days of Christmas” Day 11 - The gift of sharing.

This is unusual for us, but we need to ask for your help. At the risk of presumption, please take a moment of your time the next few days to give us a gift.

As most know, the arts were struggling even prior to 2020 and certainly after 2020! This year small businesses, like ours, have had absolutely no marketing budget. All we have is word of mouth and social media! So we want to reach out to YOU, our friends, fans, and amazing supporters to ask for the “gift of sharing”!

Help us by spreading the word on social media outlets like Facebook and Instagram. Help us get those followers out there who have never heard of us. Help us grow our “likes” by sharing videos, pictures, posts, and our page...because when this thing clears and we can hit the stage again, we want to make new friends near and far!

We wouldn’t be able to do this without your support, your powers of “word of mouth”, and obviously those shares.

Thank you, as always, for helping us stay afloat and continue to grow this year!

1Pulse "12 Days of Christmas" Day 10: The Gift of Patronage

It has been a truism of history that the arts have been supported in one way or the other by those who are willing to give monetarily to commission and/or pay for the works of sculptures, painters, bards, minstrels, actors, and yes, even rock and rollers.

2020 mostly took that away from us. But we won't stay down long. We were really looking forward to debuting our new Christmas show this year: "I'll Be Home for Christmas". The theme of the show is a year-end celebration of our audience. We want to get nice and cozy and festive with you all during the holidays. Alas, this year it was not meant to be, and we dearly miss you.

Which makes this isolated version of "I'll Be Home For Christmas" even more poignant. We dream of a day we are with you again and can see you smile with us. That day will be soon. But for now, enjoy this rendition of the eponymous song of our new Christmas show.

1Pulse 12 Days of Christmas Day9: The gift of friendship.

Me made a photo album of all our wonderful performers. Great, talented people all. Thanks so much for everyone who has made 1Pulse so much fun, and thanks to those of you who are our friends from the audience. We appreciate each and every one of you!

1Pulse "12 Days of Christmas" Day 8: The gift of talent

We can't express how lucky we feel to perform with such talented people all the time. But for us, talent is a necessary, but not sufficient condition. They aren't only amazing performers, but much more importantly we work with really amazing PEOPLE. Here's a clip from our RESPECT show, which is not just a title of a show, but an homage to the mutual respect we have for the performers we share the stage with.

Happy Holidays!

1Pulse "The 12 Days of Christmas" Day 7 - the gift of rock and roll!

At our shows we often say we really appreciate the audience for their support so we can do what we do. We are genuinely grateful for each and every one of you who come out and engage in live music. This video is for you! We are so excited to be bringing back the Springsteen show for the 2021-2022 season. We had so much fun touring it across the country a few years ago. The Boss wishes you a Merry Christmas!

With gratitude,

Jenn & Eric

1Pulse "12 Days of Christmas", Day 6

Anyone who knows Jenn, knows that she LOVES Christmas music. 1Pulse was so disappointed we couldn't have a Christmas show this year. That did not stop Jenn (and the Jennettes) from making beautiful Christmas music for you to enjoy. Here's the world debut of her version of "Do You Hear What I Hear", one of her favorite Christmas songs...Although she says that about all of them.

Happy Holidays!

1Pulse "12 Days of Christmas" day 5: The gift of the arts.

This year consider buying something to support struggling institutions. The theater business has nearly been destroyed. Now more than ever we need the arts in our lives.

We need to uplift what would bring us down. We need to smile, laugh, cry, rejoice, and we need our shared humanity. Art feeds our souls. All the gadgets that will be purchased this holiday season have a very short shelf life. Memories of unique performances last a lifetime. Here's a link to one of our favorite places in the world. They need your business and we all need the arts to come back as soon as possible. The Brown County Playhouse
